It is a hard game to teach ppl. I've taught many ppl how to play it and some just never seem to get it.

I've played Canasta once....I kept beating the person who taught me to play, and they wouldn't play it with me anymore.

I could probably play on the 'puter....but I don't have enough hands to play with real cards. I end up with too many cards, and I can't hold them all.

Wow, now THERE'S a memory from the past. I played Canasta for hours and hours when I was a kid- maybe 9 or 10 years old? My friend's grandmother taught us one summer and I loved it.

I wonder why it has probably been at least 30 years since I've played. I don't even remember the rules.

Once played a rather long (weeks) game to a million points.
