Technically prostitution is not illegal in Canada however soliciting for the purpose of prostitution, keeping a common bawdy house and living off the avails of prostitution are.

Generally these laws are not applied as long as it is kept discrete and seperate from active drug trade so there is lots available esp. in the larger cities.

You could check out the adult personals in a newspaper for ads. (Toronto Sum is big on this) The women who advertise like this are generally registered with the police and file taxes etc. and won't get you into trouble.

Most of the bigger cities also have a 'street' area where you could pick up something cheap though it is a bit risky.
