Can You Laugh At Yourself???

Can you? Really honestly, can you laugh at yourself?

Each day there are at least a dozen things that can/do happen to us that we can choose to laugh at or get really ticked off about.

I hope you are able to find humor in your day to day activities that don't necessarily go as planned. If you do, share......what did you do today that you were able to laugh at yourself?

Goodness Gracious, nobody wants to go first? I feel like a teacher.....


OK, so today.....*giggles* I was out in the sun and well, forgot my sunblock. When I got home later this afternoon and changed into a different shirt....the tell tale sunburn lines are on me! That is nothing new......

However, the kicker....I went to a social event this evening....and well, my forhead is burned a little where my hair is parted!!!! It was pointed out to me by someone else....I was embarassed at first and then just laughed.

I just need to make sure that I keep my hair parted like that for a while, lol!!!!

I always do stupid things, this last year I've become extremely clutzy, and I always laugh at myself. Nothing big today, just walked out of my flip flops a few times.

I've fallen at work, lint trips me up every time, in front of the public. Nothing like having to stand back up while you hear everyone in the room laughing outloud at you.

tried an old pair of surf shoes jetsking today and lost both of them doing a barrel roll... and almost sucked one of them up in the prop intake.... had a great laugh about my stupidity for wearing the old shoes to start with...

but the fact that the water was really nice today.... just the right amt of chop and lots of boats putting up good wakes to jump.... that makes it all easier to laugh....

Frequently lol, everyone else does may as well join in. Yesterday I had to leave my son in a shop as collateral while I went to the bank lmao, forgot I'd run out of money and also forgot to take my bank card out with me

*giggles* That is cute Witchie! Look on the bright side, at least they accepted him as collateral!

I hear you oman.....I usually do several "dumb" things on a daily basis....yesterday just topped it though....especailly since I go back to school tomorrow and here I have this half 'burned' forehead!!! *still laughing, everytime I look in the mirror!!!*

Yank & snake ~ you don't have to tell on yourselves if you don't want to. It is good to know that you can poke some fun at yourselves though!

Let's see....today, I almost wiped out a school vehicle....VERY close....

The latest...my attempt at cooking.....is currently marinading in the fridge.

I'll have to let you know tomorrow how it turns out.



I laughed at myself today because I couldn't even find my little cutting board.....and I am soooo very lost when it comes to cooking.....so, this should be a good experiment.
