trust someone, unconditionally, 100 percent, with all of your being?

I think not.

(sorry...I know the sky is the same colour where you are...:) )
My brain must short circuit or something. I make the same mistake of trusing and get fried again and again.

Well, maybe, that's cause of my short circuit problem.

In general, yes. For me? I don't know that I could let myself trust someone 100%. I want to. But, I am scared to. There is someone I trust pretty close to 100%.

no no no no no no no.
dont kid yourself. unconditional trust only leads to a bigger let down.
humans are flawed in matters of trust. you may never find out about it but sometime, someway you will get betrayed. sorry if this is pessimistic but thats the way it is. atl least thats how it is in my neck of the woods.

Yes, you can.

I trusted someone like that and may he rest in peace. He saved all of us.

I think everyone has someone that they can trust 100%. If you don't have a friend that you can trust 100%, well, then they aren't a real friend. I wouldn't expect less of any of my friends, and they couldn't expect less from me.

For those that said you can.

You can trust someone not only to not be disloyal to you, but with every little secret you have?

There is a person out there that you can trust not to overreact to a mistake you have made or something about your past?

I am not just talking about, "Would my SO cheat on me?" I am talking about you, the whole packagem inside and out.

Who can you trust with every little bit?

I would rather let go, and put myself out there to get hurt. Then to never trust again.

It's a big risk, I know. But it is one I am willing to take.

I honestly like being able to trust someone. I like being able to Be My Self. To say what I want. What I need.

To trust another person that much.

Yes I can trust this persone with everything. Have always been able to. I am single at this time, so I am talking about a friend.

Okay!

Now you all have me thinking and thinking hard.

This was a lousy idea for a thread as I just realized there are two people who will accept me as I am, never pass judgement, will keep their word and accept my friendship unconditionally.

Thanks all!

Geesh! Now what?

:D

Yes I do.

But there are only a select few that I trust implicitly.

Ishmael

I used to feel that way and in fact did for a long time.
Trust had been thrown in my face over and again.

Like I said, I have two real life friends who I do trust with everything.

Many people aren't taught the lesson while growing up that says "You will only have one or two real friends in life; everyone else is just friendly acquaintances."

If you can't fully trust your friends, then they aren't real friends.

I think not.
and why not..it gives them the same chance to make mistakes that you 've allways had

trust anyone 100% with everything? no, nothing wrong with realizing friends/loved ones limitations, but I have a few people i trust with the things that matter.
