If an author has deleted reader comments from a story, can they be UN-deleted?

I don't believe so, unless there's something Laurel or Manu can do. I doubt the author has the ability to do that.

I can't say for sure, but I wouldn't think so.

Did you accidentally delete a good one?

Doubt it. Once they are purged from the database, there is no going back, except via a backup of that data base and that is a pain in the neck.
