I’ve been having sex with my step dad for a few months now. When I was younger and we did this, I was on the pill, but now I’m not. So far we’ve been careful in other ways, but if my step dad is 55-65, how likely is it that he can still get me pregnant?

N F S Grundtvig, the 19th century Danish priest and educationalist knocked up his third wife within three months of the wedding when he was 75, which resulted in his youngest daughter Asta. Use this trivia wisely!

Of course your step-dad can get you pregnant. Men don't go through menopause. As long as a man is healthy, and his prostate and testicles are healthy, he can get a woman pregnant at any age. The questions is: Do you want a babywith your step-father? He's not blood related to you, so it's not incest.

In Texas, it may be good for you to know, sex between a person and his/her stepparent (or even a former stepparent) is incest and punishable as a crime. No blood relationship is needed. Even if Red's mother divorced this guy, for Red to continue to have sex with him would still be incest.

Where Red is, that may not be true (no location specified or implied), but where you are, it's incest. Laws vary widely from place to place. In the US, Rhode Island and a couple of other states have no laws against incest among consenting adults, and therefore no need for a definition of what may constitute incest.
You are correct! In Texas, as in many states, it is illegal; however, (no offence), I was speaking of the real world. I assume Readheadfantasy is of legal age, and mature enough to know who she wants to love. In my opinion, in a moral sense, it's not incest.

You're arguing with yourself. Three hours ago, you defined incest as being determined by blood relationship, and now you're contradicting your own definition.

Chapter 25 of Title 6 of the Texas Penal Code exists in the real world. It's not only possible. It's not only probable. It exists, and you'll find a very real definition of incest therein. You can find it. Twenty-eight million other Texans can point you to it. Even a non-Texan like me has seen it and can point you to it. It's real, as real as both of your self-contradictory definitions of incest are.
Just curious, but what is your point? This is not a courtroom, it's just a forum where people share their thoughts and opinions.

He's 55-65 you say? That's a big range. It's really odd that you have no idea how old this guy is. I mean you might not know his birthday off the top of your head, but only being able to place him in a 10-year range is a red flag of sorts.

Possibly she knows but didn't want to be specific in a public forum.

Very very likely

Very likely. And if you aren't old/experienced enough to know that, shame on him. I have no problem with two consenting adults doing whatever the fuck they want, but if he's led you to believe this... You have not given consent. If he doesn't know, maybe you both need to step back and reevaluate or at least use birth control. Please.

Are you sure he'd be able to be around long-term to help be a day to the baby?
That aside, the idea of a man getting a mother and daughter both pregnant is so beautiful.

Your mom is probably too old now but how beautiful would it have been if you had both been impregnated by him, and even went to all your appointments together because the dates would all be the same.

Hi all, I appreciate all of the inputs. A few things:

1. I was vague with my step dad’s age for privacy reasons
2. I honestly just couldn’t imagine a man that much older could get me pregnant. Thank you for setting me straight, I am getting on the pill!
