on how to save a thread in its entirety, page by page, I suppose?

Its important to me...thank you in advance.

Go to the bottom click show printable version and print it.

Or you can just add the president's name to it and the Secret Service will certainly save a copy for later.

with internet explorer
file
save as on each page

Super MissT goes quicker

Thank you...my printer isn't working very well, and I'd like a more permanent record, so I'll try your advice Miss T., and I thank you all.

hey I like that option... but you should also enter random words like "bomb", "shoot" and "pretzel" to be doubly sure.

You want to be instructed? I'll give you "Instructed"!

I instruct you to use the ignore feature on "Lord Lucan74":p

It works for me.:)

LOL...I didn't think about emailing it...good idea!;) And yep, Miss T. is very quick...thanks!:)

Intrigued,

I would also suggest saving the URL of the thread to be archived as part of your records.

That way, it can also be retrieved from Lit's history.

Just go up the top there in the address bar (while on the thread), highlight the whole address, copy, and then paste into your document.

You should go back and do the same (url copy) for some of the other threads where that maniac harrasses you, too.

I'm sorry that you have to go through this crap.

IF you're using windows

Add a printer - Start/Settings/Printers then double-click add printer. When it asks you for a manufacturer choose "Generic". the "model" will be "Generic/Text Only". Then, when it asks you for Port choose FILE: .

After that, when printing you can choose the Generic/Text Only printer and it will ask you for a file name to put the output into. This file will be mostly ".txt" compatible - may have some tabs and form feeds, but other than that mostly ".txt".

Unless you really want everything printed to your hard drive, do NOT set this as your default printer.

This should allow you to print the thread to disk.

I'll tell you what...there are some really kind people here...and I am busy trying to follow all your instructions.

I can't thank you enough...for all the times in the past, and again tonight. It often outweighs the bad.:rose:
