can anyone help me with an av?

i've got a couple of pictures that i would love to use as av's but they are BMP files...i've got them sized right but they need to be converted to JPEG's and if my photo program, ulead photoimpact, will do it i can't figure out how...would anyone be able and willing to take one of them in an e-mail, convert it and send it back or better yet, tell me if there's something obvious that i'm missing and tell me how to do it myself...

I can try...I'm not very good with computers but the one thing i do know how to use is my little jasc animator program which for 40 dollars is the most amazing fun and easiest thing in the world to use...I found it's especially compatible with this message board for posting pictures...so if you want e-mail me one @ bluemidnighter@aol.com and I'll give it a shot...

Have a hunt around the web for a programme called PicaView..its a little proggy that allows you to view any pic as a thumbnail just by right-clicking it..it also has a converter for most common types of graphic formats...it will do BMP to JPG.

If you get no joy...email the pic to kurgzcomp@yahoo.co.nz
and for an outragious fee, I'll convert them to jpg.....

can't you just save the file under a different code and then pull it up and work with it? I've done it that way.

That little Jasc animator program is a godsend...originally i downloaded it for a free month long trial along with Paint Shop Pro3 and found the Jasc program was not only more than a hundred dollars cheaper (I think PS3 is like 160) its just the most amazing thing...I made all those little animated smilies with it and when I'm feeling really naughty i do stuff like this with it...
