I giggle and stretch and get up and nearly fall. Laughing I stand up and begin putting on my leotard and tights.

 

[CarnivalBarker]

"Are you not taking a shower?!" I tease you. "I'll be dripping out of you all day!"

 

[celestialdragon]

I laugh. "Like anyone will notice!" I tease right back. "I don't mind." Tights and leotard on, I attach my dance skirt to my hip and a black ballet sweater.

 

[CarnivalBarker]

I get up myself and kiss your forehead while on my way to the bathroom. "Well, I'm cleaning up before work, stinky," I say, prompting you to wrinkle your nose at me.

 

[celestialdragon]

I wrinkle my nose and continue to dress and grab something small to eat before catching you in the midst of your shave. "Love you, I'll be over after class."

 

[CarnivalBarker]

"Love you babe," I say as you race off and out the door.

 

[celestialdragon]

I go to class and my form has remarkably improved, thank heavens. Falling was no longer an option, it was a choice. Although I did manage to fall in the middle of a glissade and nearly sprained my ankle.

I go home to change and wrap my ankle before coming into work. I smile and clock in with Don before going to the hostess stand.

"Hey you," I say, coming from behind you as I come from the managers office and kiss your temple. "How was class?" I look across the bar at the sparse crowd and notice some dirty tables and no activity at the bar.

"Well, I nearly sprained my ankle, but good," I say, smiling.

 

[CarnivalBarker]

"Are you okay?" I ask casually. "Where is Riley? The bar is a mess."

 

[celestialdragon]

"I haven't seen Riley," I mentioned thoughtfully. "And yeah, I'm fine. I wrapped it but it'll be fine. Let me go clean, since the bar's slow." I kiss your cheek and go off to clean the tables.

 

[CarnivalBarker]

"Ok, thanks," I say, heading off to the kitchen to find Donovan. When I get there, he and Riley are in the middle of a fight, Riley claiming "that whore" Kaylee had gone to Kameron's apartment during Riley's most recent shift and from now on, she wanted to be scheduled only on days when Kaylee worked. That would require me to put you on more shifts, including more weekends, or hire another girl. I roll my eyes and let them argue some more before returning to take a place myself behind the bar.

I clean and soon, customers are pouring in and I start seating them. Riley comes out soon, and I offer her a warm smile.

 

[CarnivalBarker]

"Hey, can you pick up four more shifts each week?" She asks.

"Riley!" i say, before you can answer, and give her a look. "Get out on the floor," I say. She tells you nevermind and goes to the wait staff area to deliver some orders.

 

[celestialdragon]

"What was that about?" I ask, confused about what just happened. I hold up a finger before sitting a group of five in a corner booth and come back. "Alright, speak."

 

[CarnivalBarker]

"Don't worry about it, babe. Riley is trying to shuffle the schedules around and it's unnecessary. Don already told her no."

 

[celestialdragon]

"Alright," I say with a smile. I kiss your cheek. "Run along and play manager, there's a party coming in," I say, shooing you away with a playful smack on your ass.

I give you a stunned look, before retreating to the office to run accounts.

I giggle at your look and continue sitting people all night. After closing, I perch at my usual place at the bar and pour myself a Scotch on the rocks. I sip it and wait for you. When you come out, I giggle.

"What's so funny, chuckles?" I ask, gathering up the bar register and cash.

 

[celestialdragon]

"Your reaction to the smack on the ass I gave you," I say, sipping my drink.

 

[CarnivalBarker]

"Dufus," I say. "I wasn't expecting it is all."

 

[celestialdragon]

I give you a giggly smile and kiss your cheek before taking another sip. "I am not a doofus," I say with a pout.

 

[CarnivalBarker]

"Yeah, ya are," I say, kissing your temple. "I'm sending everyone else home and you and I will close," I say, giving you an ornery look.

 

[celestialdragon]

"Okay," I say, recognizing that look. I smile.
