"Will do," I say. I hang up just as Raegan comes. After going over some last minute things with her, I leave and head to the mall, just to do something to calm my nerves before heading to Riley's.

The mall isn't super busy, but there is a normal Saturday crowd. You enter near the main entrance just beside the central hub of the mall.

I head over immediately to the music store, checking out the new CDs that they've gotten in, and looking for CDs of my favorite artists. My soft wool grey sweater hugs my curves, and the jeans I've opted for give a nice hand to my ass and thighs. A light blue scarf draped over my shoulders lazily.

As you leave the CD store, you literally bump into a guy entering, causing you to drop your purse and the things you purchased. "I'm very sorry," he says, quickly stooping to help you pick things up, and handing the things back to you. As he stands, you notice he is handsome, likely a college student, but a rather handsome one with chiseled features, a very white smile, two days of growth on his face, and a well put together outfit that makes him look somewhere between classical style and hipster. "I'm also happy to meet you," he says, extending his hand with a grin as he appreciates your tight, pretty form. "Darren Covell," he says, very confidently.

I take his hand, blushing furiously. "Lynn Clarkson," I say shyly, taking in his handsome features. It was making my heart thud.

"I'm sorry I hit you," his hand holds your, lingering. "I was in a hurry to grab the new Kings of Leon album. How about you?" He asks, simply trying to have a conversation.

"Just seeing what they had, got myself a Queens album, two Def Leopards and a Michael Jackson," I say, holding the conversation.

"Retro," he smiles. "I like it." He thinks quickly. "You know there's a retro act that plays any 80s cover you can name every Wednesday at the Hollywood on 10th street. I'll be there this week. You should check it out. You could go with me if you wanted."

"Great," he says. "I'll text you." You notice him check out your figure once before pocketing his phone. "I look forward to it. It will be fun. And we might find a party after somewhere."

"Okay," he says with a smile. "It was nice bumping into you," he says, smiling and clearly leaving an impression of wanting to bump into you more before excusing himself and going into the store. As you walk away, you notice him check you out and smile when you turn to look at him one more time.

I walk quickly to the bathroom, where I notice that I've been sweating from nerves. I freshen up a bit before heading over to Riley's, my mind now conflicted over Darren.

On your way to see Riley, your phone warbles with a number you don't recognize. The text is simple. "The KOL CD is not nearly as hot as you were today. -Darren"

Darren texts you that The Hollywood is club wear only and that he'll see you Wednesday. Shortly after, the phone rings. "Hey babe. Reagan called and Reece ruined his blanket. Is he allergic to anything or can she use one she has?"
