I blush a little and smile. "No, not for a while, baby," I say. "Not for at least a year. But you know what that means? All the loving you want to give me."

"I'm on the shelf for a year?!" I ask, shocked but still elated.

"Oh, you'll never be on the shelf!" I laugh. "Just can't be rough. Doesn't mean we can't make love." I kiss you. "Many women are really horny during pregnancy, and sex can be good for pregnant women." I kiss you again. "I've been doing my research baby, relax."

"What about, here?" I ask, my hand sliding around to cup your ass.

My eyes tear up a bit and I simply kiss you as words fail me.

I kiss you back. "Baby, are you crying?" I ask softly, feeling a tear hit me. I wipe them away. "Why are you crying?"

I smile and wipe away a single tear. "Because I have never been so happy in my life and never thought I would be. "

 

[celestialdragon]

I hug you tightly and rock you, smiling. "I'm so happy," I say softly. "I didn't think I would be this happy, myself," I added, confessing. "Let's go sit down, I'll make some hot chocolate."

"Ok," I say, smiling and heading toward the couch.

I go into the kitchen and make two steaming mugs of hot chocolate, topped with whipped cream and chocolate syrup. I carefully carry them in and give you yours and sit down next to you, snuggling next to you.

 

[CarnivalBarker]

"You can't work tomorrow, you know," I say as a take a sip of my drink.

 

[celestialdragon]

"Why not?" I ask, confused.

 

[CarnivalBarker]

"I can't have you pregnant with our baby, in lingerie, in a crowd of drunk frat boys. What if one of them tries something? Or does something? I don't know if it is safe."

 

[celestialdragon]

I understand what is going through your mind. I take away our hot chocolates and set them on the table and take both of your hands in mine and look at you. "Love," I say. "I will be fine. I can handle myself. If you want, I can tell Riley and she can help protect me, alright? I need to work now, more than ever." I kiss each of your hands gently. "I will stop working after the second trimester, alright?" I kiss your nose.

"I'm just nervous is all. Are you sure?"

 

[celestialdragon]

"I'm positive," I tell you softly. I kiss your nose again. "I understand why you're nervous, you just have to remain calm, alright?" I hug you and rock you, holding you close. "It's all going to be fine, okay?"

I kiss your temple and say, "I'll always be your baby girl, no matter what, baby."

"Thank you baby," I squeeze you. "I know you will." I smile again.
