Calling all moms!

Last month, there was a 35th year reunion at the local casino. I ponied up the $65 and went. I spent most of the time listening to the lies the men told, and laughing at them internally. Some of the women I did hang around, when we were away from nosy eyes and ear, asked me how "Things were going."

I did get four people who handed me their resumes, as if I could help them get jobs LOL

i had a childfriend friend contract me who i had not seen in over 20 years last year and the only thing she was interested in was finding a job. I felt kind of used after that drink at the bar. i think that resume ended up in the circular file at the train station

1 did tell me she was going to stop talking to me because i did not live in her town.

as for the others....oh well

Pretty shallow!!! I prefer intimate friendship but even just friends with like minded women is better than none

It's usually the young ones who get upset with me when I tell them I'm not going to meet them OR get pissed when I tell them I'm not in NYC.

You and I are something like 90 miles apart, we've been chatting on and off for quite some time..... If it works out that we meet at some point that would be cool (maybe on my way to Lake George) but I like our banter even without meeting

i think i have the attitude now that if it up to you to prove to me that you are not going to flake out on me or whatever. but somebody is asking a lot to expect somebody to travel to meet somebody here unless you truly know somebody and can trust them. and even then, i would met somebody half way at a hotel in a big city.

i think it is par for the course with the young folks, they think they can just hop from girl to guy to girl to guy. a lot of people forget that there are folks on the other end of the computer screen, and they do have feelings.

I passed a couple on to a local Lit friend who works for a temp agency, since they were more qualified to work in the Tech business than my publishing business.

What I meant was if you go to Middletown (off of 84) I would save you the extra mileage by meeting you closer to you as in Kingston or Newburgh
