California goes completely insane

Completely. Not mostly, nearly or partially. But completely. That's one hell of a commitment.

Not even going to provide arguments why this is beyond stupid on every conceivable level. There are no words strong enough, on so many levels.

The issue to me is how are any of these state boycotts Constitutional? A state cannot impede interstate commerce under the Constitution. Apparently the "argument" is that states make contracts with other states or localities so refusing to do so is the same thing.

The difference is that making a contract is promoting interstate commerce, while boycotting is impeding and harming interstate commerce.

Hopefully someone finally sues these states and cities that have been pulling this crap for a long time.

Congress should also act to pass a law prohibiting this behavior by states and localities and let it go through the courts.

Finally, hopefully someone tries to get this on the ballot via a refendum and ban all these bans over political issues.

Enough is enough.

Sorry California is low on the list of state sponsored insanity.

Try having it be a requirement that your doctor lie to you before you can get a basic medical procedure.

Or having textbooks with creationism as "alternative science".

Or forbidding doctors from presenting any information on gun safety.

Soooo yeah.... yawn.

I just can't commit to the "completely" on this. Perhaps partially. But no, it doesn't hit the threshold for "completely". Not even close.

LOL more like the top 10.

We can sponsor the uber welfare state and house illegals but we can't spend money allocated for fixing shit on actually fixing shit.

DIRECTLY threatening the lives of over 300,000 people.

Nothing serious about that, the real fuck up's are trying to get people to pay for their own shit.

Can you believe that?

How dare those nuts suggest people pay for their own shit....THAT is real crazy.

Considering its size you'd think it'd have more. Not that I don't agree, they do have some crazy ones... and perhaps even in the top ten, but you'd think they'd be top three really.

The state legislature and Gov. Moonbeam are pretty loopy, but not the whole state. If this were to be decided by an initiative (or a referendum) it probably would not pass.

BTW, I notice that list of exceptions. If there's money involved, then it's okay to take the low road and violate our principals.

More what?

Nuts? Visit the bay area AKA the toilet bowl and get back to me.

NY and FL are the only nuttier shit holes.

CA and TX tie for 3rd.

More craziness of course. :D

Oh I dunno. Louisiana and Kansas come in for some real fuckery. And yes New York has real potential.

LA and KA are top ten for sure but fall short of top 3 because they are pissant and largely irrelevant both economically and population wise.

You'd think they'd know their place and get further down the line wouldn't you. Alas they do strive though. They are way out of proportion given their "pissant" economies and population. Ha.

I heard that Texas is going to require that people from California have to carry and present a U.S. Passport upon request when in Texas. :D

Hmm, Cali wants to ban state travel to places that aren't as politically insane as they are, hoping to "shame" them or something? Are they that fucking stupid? Does the Cali idiots think this will gain them any more than ridicule?

And what the fuck does having a doctor "lie" to someone have any thing to do with this? Or having more than one theory in a textbook?

There is zero reason that a fucking doctor should be a source of gun safety. If that is the case, I should give safety briefings to nuclear power plants, and pharmacists should be the authority on motorcycle driving tips, just like my mechanic is my go-to person for how to use an airplane seat as a flotation device. A doctor on gun issues? Fucking idiot.

Keep rationalizing.

So you think it's okay for the state to mandate that your doctor lie to you?

Further you believe that it's okay to teach religion as science?

And lastly why don't you want doctors to have freedom of speech? It's not that they should or shouldn't, they are prohibited.

But all of those are okay as long as you can malign California?

It's far too late for this kind of nonsense.

Nope.....not being a socialist I think the state should be staying the fuck out of all that shit.

Further you believe that it's okay to teach religion as science?

Sure. If that's how a community wants to run their shit let them suffer the consequences of their actions.

How come you're practically and anarchist when it comes to medical procedures pertaining to the female reproductive system, but you can't let bible thumpers even raise their own kids?

LOL the scale of that hypocrisy from a political perspective is just off the charts.

Look Russian troll, stop trying to sound like you have a clue how our Constitution works. Unlike your country where the dictator Putin hands down edicts so mothers can't talk about their sons who died fighting in Ukraine, there is nothing in the Constitution which prohibits California from doing this.

They are not "impeding interstate commerce". Anyone is free to do business with these states. Only state employees of California are prohibited from visiting these states using taxpayer money.

Look at the real insanity. States codifying discrimination because of how someone is born. Apparently these states failed to learn from history.

The real insanity is denying Science and someone should know that.

There are ZERO instances in which a brain has changed chromosomes and ample evidence that brains can, and will, malfunction. It's not discrimination when it's a sincere desire to help people with the best possible tools when they have a problem with their mental state. That's called COMPASSION; a word Liberals use a lot, but like everything else, have redefined to fit their agenda of imposing their religion on everyone else.

What religion? Also, of course a brain can't change chromosomes. It's the chromosomes which can change the brain.

Meanwhile large segments of the private sector leave California in droves.

Were I a company in 1 of those "banned' States, I would HUNT FOR a contract that I could bid on. I would ensure that I was the low bidder by bidding the contract to only cover overhead costs with no profit. Out of the goodness of my heart because of the terrible state of the economy and all that.

And, when the bid is rejected because I'm from a "banned State" I would SUE THE FUCK out of California in Federal Court. Full faith & credit, blackballing, & discrimination would be the top claims.

Don't tempt us!;)

We don't think much of the "Left Coast" anyway.

And make those Left Coast fools that settled around Austin go home!

They will sooner or later ruin this country.
