California Election

The state is lost to an illegal foreign invasion . . .

Immigration =/= invasion.

Please type that 100 times before you comment again on any immigration-related matter.

And CA is no different in this regard from the rest of the Southwest.

. . . and will never again put a Republican in state wide office.

Has nothing to do with the immigrants, who don't vote.

Everyone in CA can be an unverified absentee voter now. Pretty soon in the People's Republic of California voting will be reduced to media street polling. The state is lost to an illegal foreign invasion and will never again put a Republican in state wide office. The state's one party death spiral will continue uninterrupted from now on.
Wrong again. Every mail-in ballot has to be signed, and every signature must be verified, by law.

Really, you need to look things up before you spout off shit you heard from losers.

It's a good thing WhiteGuide placed a "rolls-eyes" emoji at the end of his comment.

Otherwise, I might have thought he was being serious.

SAD!!!

The California recall victory shows Democrats the path forward against Trumpism

Newsom likely won by making the campaign a referendum on his leading opponent, right-wing talk radio host Larry Elder — a man so repulsive that he gives his idol, Donald Trump, a run for his money. Newsom highlighted how Elder opposed any COVID-19 mitigation measures and reminded voters that letting thousands of people die is worse than occasional bouts of hypocrisy. Newsom also relentlessly tied Elder to Trump.

"We may have defeated Donald Trump, but we have not defeated Trumpism," Newsom told a crowd on the final night of the campaign.

The political press was swift to seize on this aspect of the Newsom campaign as the dominant narrative, not just for how the California governor survived, but how Democrats will win in other off-year elections and possibly in the 2022 midterms.

"Democrats wanted Trump gone. Now they want him on the ballot," reads a Washington Post headline, which points not just to California, but Virginia and New Jersey and Virginia, where Democratic candidates Terry McAuliffe and Phil Murphy regularly invoke the specter of Trump in their 2021 gubernatorial campaigns.

Immigration =/= ILLEGAL immigration via forced entry.

Please type that 100 times before you lie any more about immigration related matters.

CA is very different, it's a pro-open borders leftist state and openly subverting our immigration laws and democracy.

Lol, we’re all millionaires on the interwebs

You're not???

A million bucks, total worth, is really not that much for someone approaching middle age in 2021 with 25 years of hustle and grind under their belt. Especially in California.

I know skilled labor (plumber and a welder/fabricator) my age with 400-600k homes and 250-500k worth of toys and go on nice vacations.

True enough, though my comment was really about internet exaggeration. But yeah, I’m set. Though seems like I meet too many folk that don’t have the foresight or ability to not just live for the day.
