California governor Gavin Newsom signed a bill into law which requires all presidential and gubernatorial candidates who wish to be on the ballot in the state, to file five years worth of federal taxes to be on the primary ballot.
The state will post all forms online for the public to view with all appropriate redactions.
Needless to say, the Whiner-in-Chief's fake attorney, Jay Sekulow, a staunch proponent of state's rights, immediately objected. "The State of California's attempt to circumvent the Constitution will be answered in court."
In one case, the Supreme Court struck down an Arkansas law which added its own qualifications to congressional candidates.

Interpreting the high court's ruling six years later, the 9th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals declared a California law unconstitutional for "creating an absolute bar to candidates, who otherwise meet the requirements of the Qualifications Clause."
