She showed an interest.
Went so far as to describe the attraction. How, with thick privacy padding thrown over each side, a large padded and dimpled pillow at it's center...it would be akin to an external sub-space. Relaxing..other-worldly...a place to center.
Sending her there while I indulge in my enjoyment of cooking....knowing where she is. Checking in on her from time to time.

The idea is a very enticing and intreaguing one.

Does anyone actively practice? What started it with you and yours, what does it do for you/them and how did you adorn it? Did you soundproof it?

I.M.'s want to know.

We have a large metal dog cage, no comfy pillows etc...we don't have a dog.:) It hasn't been used for awhile due to life, but does reside in our attic bedroom.

there is almost something womblike to me about a cage, or even better a dark small room with no windows.

My only experience was playing in the Bonds of Steel display at ShibariCon. I would have said "no way" to the idea of being caged, but actually sat in there and chilled. Can see it in a very positive light now. Just relaxing, swinging or swaying, getting into my own little space. hmmmmm :)

The only time I've seen cages, was on my 15th birthday (no, not like that), my dad took me to my one and only pro wrestling match in Jacksonville. I found out what happens during the TV commercials. They actually had girls in suspended cages dance in very suggestive clothing.

At first (since I was 15), I thought, "What the hell!", but after awhile, I got this weird twinge in my gut. Ever see something strange or weird, but find that you were liking it somehow? :D

I actually would love to be in a cage, with pillows and a book to read, while my *guy* does whatever he wants.

I also like the idea of putting my *guy* in a cage, and just leaving him there.

:D

I've seen a few at a local Domme's dungeon that caught my eye. They were pretty spacious. A friend of mine is a pet, and his Misress has a large dog carrying bin for him.

The possability has been working it's way into and throughout my thoughts.
Certainly it might be a question when people have a tour of the house and they know we don't have a dog.

Then again...it can always be said that we dog sit from time to time.

But the idea of her pen. Knowing it's her own space. Sending her there for the purpose of centering or awaiting my scene set up is very interesting to me.
What do you do with your submissive as she awaits your plans? Normally..they are placed in a room or in possition.

Other then occasionally cramped leg muscles as they kneel...where's the psychological preparation?
Her being in a cage....I would think it softens up her mind and enables it to be far more receptive and antissipatory.

Food for thought.....

I'd absolutely love to be caged like that! I get the appeal, and for me, it's just as you described. :D

Unfortunately...it's too easy to get out of.
I like the psychological benefits of having it locked.
And knowing that you, as the sensative and now emotionally/physically vulnerable submissive, can "send out your aura-esque feelers" and know you are safe and sound until I come get you.

Still..it's a very nice tent. :rose:

~ Happy Birthday Little Miss ~

i was at a public play dungeon one time and they had a old fashion standing-type cage, i think up on a table. They put a sub fem in there, wearing only a blindfold and a thong. The note on the cage read:

my name is kat. You are allowed to pet the kat anywhere there is no clothing.

:D

Today is my daughters birthday & I bought her a Disney Princess pop-up tent. It got me thinking about how I could perverse the concept.

For those not in a 24/7 TPE, and who are happy to settlye for a comfort space that does not have the ability to lock then perhaps something like this would work? You can then easily fold it to store out of site for when kinkless friends come to visit and it is much mor easily portable. The sides being flexible negates the need for "bumper" type pillows & the fabrication itself provides the ability to cocoon the submissive, while the front door can be hooked back for when a space but not complete isolation is needed.

MMMM I like the idea of the tent, for me even if it werent locked if he told me to not come out until I was called for I wouldnt come out ... It still would mean just as much as if it were a real cage with a locking mechanism..

BTW : Happy Birthday to LIttle Miss from me as well.. ;)

I like being caged but ours is like Cat's, there's nothing remotely cocoon like about it. I haven't thought about a space like this but it doesn't really appeal to me. If I'm unfettered, I'm usually expected to be of some use. If I want to snuggle, then it's with him, rather than isolated.

i have a fantasy of having a section under my imaginary Daddy's desk be enclosed so that if he chose he could leave it open or close me in at his discretion. This was a fantasy i used to indulge in often and often thought about being "tucked in" with a chastity device, locked under the desk when he went out. It was all just fantasy though.

In reality i have made little enclosed "nest" type spaces for myself since i can remember.

A GF and I used to hang out in there during parties when no one wanted to use it and flirt and make out and just chill. It *is* womblike. This one was pretty bare, too, but it kind of created a "nook." I've never thought of this as especially punitive, but I'm pretty bondage-versatile like that.
