"Tammi that was a little extreme, don't you think," she tell herself. She realise that now, or had she realised that when she had packed her bags with as much clothes and food as she could and jumped in the car, driving away without her phone or laptop. Escaping life, Nagging parents, friends that only seemed interested in gossip and a ex boyfriend that was driving her crazy. Yes she thought she had realised as she packed but she couldn't take it anymore and had needed to get away and her grandmothers old cabin was the perfect place to get away too. It was secluded and had a lake and the closest neighbour was miles away. Perfect.

As soon as she got out of the car she knew she had made the right choice. Her grandma had always loved this place and had passed it down onto her when she passed away. Every time her grandma had spoken of this place as she had grown up, she seemed to have this small secretive smile on her lips. Maybe Tammi would find out during her stay what made her grandma smile like that. Dumping her bags inside she set about opening the cabin and airing it out and making it liveable.

A week went past and she had started to finally relax and learn to just take in the clean air. Swimming in the lake naked and walking around the cabin half dressed, something she wouldn't have considered doing back home, not when there was a chance someone would spot her. But who was there to see her out here. Not that she was ashamed of her body, she was on the cuddly side as her ex had put it but she was proud of her breasts which were on the naturally large side.

Swimming one day she stopped as she suddenly had the strangest feeling that she was being watched. Looking around she couldn't find anyone and decided she had swam enough. Climbing out of the water she wrapped herself in a towel and grabbed her clothes and headed back to the cabin. Still feeling as if eyes followed her every move.

((I am looking for someone to play a man that is chained to the land the cabin and the lake are on, that for centuries has been seducing the women who come to the land. There will be a bit of reluctance on my characters side, which only makes your character more determined. You make up his back story and exactly what he is if you don't want to make him human.))

Brokar never knew his parents or how he came to be in this forest, but as he grew older he leaned how to change his appearance. He never knew he could change it just happen one day, and after that day he would change to suit his needs. What he didn’t know was that he was not human but a chameleon, and not from this planet.

Brokar soon learned to speak the local language as a small boy by changing to look like other boys, and once he learned to read, he looked at his medallion on his neck and the letters on it were BROKAR. He lived in the same area for a very long time, he actually couldn’t remember when he came here, but loved the female species’.

His ability to change at will gave him all the advantage he needed to seduce women as the need to breed as in his blood, but unfortunate he was never able to impregnate a woman. Perhaps it would take a special woman for him, but things never changed for him, only everything else around him including people would live for many years that eventually would die.

Brokar could change into any living being human or animal, but after he changed he could only maintained it for only a few weeks at a time, than he would have to change back for at least a day. He had just changed when he saw a knew woman moving into the old cabin and he started to fallow her wherever she went, and one day she went to the lake and she removed all her clothes and swam naked.

He had to see her up close and changed into a frog and once in the water changed into a fish. He marveled at her body as he looked at her up close, and he wanted her more than any other in the past. He followed her under water when she swam at shore and then changed again into a frog so he could fallow her from a distance without her seen him.

Even as she walked to the cabin, she still felt like she was being watched. Juggling the pile of clothes in her hands she opened the door and closed it behind her. She couldn't explain the feeling of being watched, maybe it was just the fact that she had been out of contact with people for a while now. Shrugging it off she set her clothes on one of the love seats her grandma used to love and let the towel drop to her feet.

Getting dressed, in a pair of jeans and a tank top, she scooped up the towel and dried her hair long brown hair leaving it wavy and still damp. Grabbing her book she took it and the towel out the front of the cabin. Hanging the towel over one of the rails of the cabins porch she curled herself into one of the seats. Glancing once more over the land in front of her she smiled and opened her book.

A lot of her time was now spent reading a few of the books she had in her car and she had raided the ones her grandma in the cabin. After a few pages of the book her eyes started to drift close and before she knew it she was asleep in the seat.

Brokar fallowed her right up to her cabin and after she went inside he hopped up on the window seal to watch her. She drops the towel on the floor that was wrapped around her body, and he couldn’t believe his eyes and wanted to feel her in his arms and be inside her. To Brokar she was the beautiful woman he ever saw.

Brokar wanted to change and take her but he wanted her to keep for himself and had to win her somehow. After she changed her clothes she took a book and walked outside to sit down to read. He was behind her now and he couldn’t move, but after a while it looked as if she was asleep, and he Jumped from the window seal over the rail and away.

He was now far enough so he could change, and he thought to change into a very handsome strong human man. The question now was how to approach her and not scare her out of her wits. He walked slowly as he was for a walk making enough noise so she could hear it him.

He stopped in front of the first steps and knocked on the rail with his knuckles loud enough to wake her not to scare her. After waiting a few seconds he knocked twice and sopped when he saw her moving.

Tammi slept and dreamed of walking the land that the cottage was on and she was talking away to someone that she couldn't see. This didn't seem to bother her in the dream. Suddenly she stopped as she heard knocking, strange it sounded so loud. It came again and this time she woke up.

Rubbing her eyes she shifted and her book landed on the ground, falling from her lap. Looking around she wondered what had woken her, from her nap. Then her eyes come to one of the most handsomest men she had ever seen. For a moment she thought she was still dreaming but it didn't feel like a dream.

"Hello," she said slowly sitting up and then stretching still not so sure of this. They were a long away from any were so where had he come from. "Can I help you?" she asked standing up and stretching.

Brokar bent down to pick up the book she let drop on the ground, and looked at her while she woke and then she stretched. Standing right in front of her she looked even more stunning that the first time he saw her. Though the first time she was naked and that picture of her will never fade from his mind.

“Hello” she said as soon as she could fully wake up. Miss I don’t mean to disturb you I’m Brokar. I love taking very long walks and it was a while since I walked this way. I didn’t know anyone was here anymore after the old lady passed away. Are you the new owner of the cottage” He asked her as he handed the book back to her.

“Can I help you?” she asked him and he smiled at her if she only knew the kind of help he really wanted.

Well not exactly. You see, as I was saying, I love taking very long walks and this time like other times before, I’ve walked this way, and yes it is far but I do enjoy it, I have a place about 5 miles from here, and I might be your closest neighbor to you here.”

He had a hard time controlling his urge to take her right now but he knew this would get him nothing. She was truly a keeper.

Realising that she wasn't dreaming there was in fact a man standing before her. Giving herself a mental shake and took the book back from him. Nodding her head as his words sunk in she moved forward. "The old lady was my grandma, she left this place to me when she passed away. I never got a chance to come up here since she passed until now that is."

She this was one of her neighbours. It's funny she hadn't thought that she was going to meet any of her neighbours, but here was one standing in front of her. "Thats a long walk," she said surprised. "You must be thirsty, why don't you come in and have a drink. Grandma always told me to help my neighbours." Smiling she turned and headed to the door and held it open for him to come in.

Brokar told her the truth as very seldom he would have to lie, maybe deceiving was his intension, but he was indeed her neighbor if you call that. And yes he had known her grandmother and seduced her and maybe that was why he felt attracted to the granddaughter.

"The old lady was my grandma; she left this place to me when she passed away. I never got a chance to come up here since she passed until now that is." She told him and he smiled at her. “I’ve met her once but we never got to talk much really, just saying hello and how are you but that was all.” He told her which was partly true.

He was looking up to her as she stood on the veranda and he though he saw something in her eyes that pleased him but as please as he was after her invitation.

"That’s a long walk," she said surprised. "You must be thirsty, why don't you come in and have a drink. Grandma always told me to help my neighbours." She said to him smiling and that took him by surprise as he never thought it would be this soon, but still he would take his time till the time was right.

He walked up the steps and bowed his head slightly. I thank you for the nice invitation and extended his hand. “I am Brokar and very pleased to meet you Miss “

Tammi, call me Tammi,” she said taking Brokar’s hand and shaking it. “It’s a pleasure to meet you Brokar.” Ushering him in, she headed to the small kitchen area. Going to the small generator run fridge she poured them both a glass of water.

Handing him the glass she smiled at him. She couldn’t believe how handsome he was. But she told herself to settle down, she had not long been an in relationship that had ended badly. Also had her ex not been one of the reasons she had run for the cottage, she was supposed to be out here relaxing not looking the handsome neighbor up and down. Nope not going there she told herself sternly.

“So Brokar……… That’s an interesting name. Have you lived in this area long?”

Brokar smiled at her as she said “Tammi, call me Tammi,” as they shook hands and she said “It’s a pleasure to meet you Brokar.” Tammi led him inside her cottage then went to the small fridge and came back with two glasses filled with water. He took the glass she handed to him, and said, “thank you Tammi this is very kind of you.

Brokar didn’t fail to notice the way she looked at him, and he liked that very much she was taken by him, by then so was he taken by her. He looked into her eyes as she said. “So Brokar” with a slight pause that’s an interesting name. Have you lived in this area long?”

Brokar had no reason to lie to her and he told her. “Yes as far back as I can remember I lived here unless my parents moved here when I was just a baby.” He paused for a moment. The name I’m afraid were my parents doing, the said it was an old family name.”

He smiled at her than asked. “What about you Tammi, why would you want to live here all alone so far away from the city and your friends?”

Nodding as he said he had lived here as long as he remembered. She found it a bit strange that he didn’t know if his parents had moved here when he was a baby, but she didn’t comment about it. Smiling when he said about his name she understood, “I can understand that my great great grandmother had been named Tamara and that was how I got my name.”

At his question she sipped her drink as she thought of how much to tell him. Normally she would have just said how beautiful it was out here so why wouldn’t she want to live out here, but for some reason she felt like telling him the truth. "I sort of run away from all that,” she said and sipped her water again. Moving over to the old beat up couches she sat down, thinking it was rude that she was making a visitor stand there when he had walked a long distance.

“You see, I recently broke up with my boyfriend well more along the lines that he had broken up with me, as a result I had no place to live so I moved back in with my parents. That soon got stressful as they pestered me wanting to know when I was finding a place of my own. To top it off my ex kept calling and harassing me or wanting me back, depending on what mood he was in. Finally I had enough and grabbed clothes and a few things and came out here. I even left my phone and laptop back at home, because I didn’t want to deal with anyone any more.**Pretty rash and childish of me don’t you think?”

He smiled when she said she understood and was about to ask about her name when she said it. “I can understand that my great great grandmother had been named Tamara and that was how I got my name.” He thought about her name. “I personally like the name Tamara and I take it you changed it”.

"I sort of run away from all that,” She said he wondered why unless it was something very serious or she done something and she ran away from it, but kept looking at her as they both stood and take sips of water. He wanted ask she ran away, but she move to sit down on an old couch and he then sat next to her and she continue telling him why.

I even left my phone and laptop back at home, because I didn’t want to deal with anyone anymore.” Pretty rash and childish of me don’t you think?”

He thought for a moment before he said what he thought. “I wouldn’t say childish, maybe a bit rash, but you know your x better than anyone and if you never want to have anything to do with him perhaps you did the right thing” Brokar never took his eyes off of her face and thought that her x was an idiot, but it was his loss and Brokar’s gain.

A smile lit her face as she he agreed with her that it had been a bit rash. "Perhaps," she agreed, " Since coming out here, I have never felt so at peace or relaxed in my whole life. I can see why my grandma loved it so much out here. I have a feeling that I wouldn't be able to cope if I went back to the city now." Looking at him she blushed as she realised that she had done most of the talking.

"Sorry I don't know what come over me, I don't usually tell my life story to strangers when I first meet them. I must be boring you" Setting her glass on the ground beside the couch she focused on him, "How about you, why don't you tell me about yourself?" she asked him. "Do you live with anyone, do you have work?" she asked him.

Brokar found himself liking her more and more as they talked, and he liked the way she smiled at him when he agreed, “Perhaps,” she agree”. He was sure he wouldn’t have any problems spending more time with her now.

“Since coming out here, I have never felt so at peace or relaxed in my whole life. I can see why my grandma loved it so much out here. I have a feeling that I wouldn't be able to cope if I went back to the city now."

He noted that she bushed a little and wondered why. “I for one I’m pleased that you came here and got to know you Tammi, and would like getting to know you better.” He looked into her eyes as he said that, and he smiled when she told him more than she had wanted to.

"Sorry I don't know what come over me, I don't usually tell my life story to strangers when I first meet them. I must be boring you"

“On the contrary Tammi you are not boring me at all. I could listen to you all day and all night.” He said but his thoughts where on what to tell her about himself. “I can tell this much, I do live alone and no I don’t work, my land gives me all I need, and I have a nice large house and older house by it’s all I need.

“Tammi I never knew my parents I was raised by a couple that found me at their door steps.” He pulled the necklace with his name and showed it to her. “This was the only thing was on me when they wound me. That’s where my name came from.”

Tammi, blushed brighter at Brokar's words that he wanted to get to know her better and that he could listen to her all day and night. She couldn't take her eyes away from his as he spoke and she liked his smile, which brightened his face.

A small part of her was relieved to find out that he lived alone. She found Brokar interesting as well as handsome and he seemed attentive. That was something her ex hadn't been.

"Oh I am so sorry," she told him as he told her about his parents. When he showed her the necklace, she scooted closer to him on the couch. Pulling her leg up on the couch and under her other leg, so she was facing him, she took the necklace looking to him first to make sure that was okay before she did.

"It's beautiful," she told him as she run her fingers over it. "Don't you get lonely living alone?" she asked looking back up from the necklace.

Brokar didn’t fail to notice the effect his words had on Tammi, and though he meant it ever words Tammi was very receptive to everything he said to her, and the way she was now looking at him he didn’t have to too or say anything more than being his present self.

Tammi said she was sorry to hear about his parents and he said “Thank you”, and then she moved much closer to look at pendant her showed her. She was almost touching him and being this close, he smelled a scent on her that he liked. He wondered what she would do if he kissed her at that moment, but he held his emotions in check.

Tammi commented looking at the medallion. “It’s beautiful, she said as her fingers ran over it. “Don’t you get lonely living alone” she asked looking up at him. Brokar took her hand as she still held the medallion.

I must confess that at times I do get lonely, but when I feel that way I just take long walks like today.” His eyes were locked to hers as he said it. “Maybe now that we met we could visit each other if it’s ok with you of course.”

"I would like that," she says her eyes not leaving his. "Maybe I should take up walking as well and see where I find myself." She had been meaning to start wondering the land that surrounded her cabin. It would give her something else to do and an excuse to happen across Brokar, that wouldn't make it look like she was seeking him out.

She felt her hand in his, letting go of his necklace she turned her hand over so it was palm to palm with his. His face was so close to hers, close enough to kiss. Her eyes darted to his lips and then back to his eyes. I wonder what it would be like to kiss him, or how he would react? she wondered to herself.

What was she thinking she had only just met him, and she had only just broken up with her ex. Looking away she slipped her hand from his and pushed herself back on the couch. "Sorry again, I forgot myself," she told him. "I think I need some more water," she said taking her glass and getting up off the couch and heading to the kitchen area.

“I would like that” she replied and he had to control the urge to kiss her the way she held his eyes. Things between them were progressing better than he expected, and the image of her naked by the lake was very vivid in his mind.

"Maybe I should take up walking as well and see where I find myself." She said letting go of the necklace and turned her hand so it was on top of his. Their faces where still inches from each other and he wondered if she wanted him to kiss her as he saw her eyes look at his lips. “I think walking is good for everyone no matter the age, and maybe you should and if you walk towards west maybe we could meet half way” he said smiling.

Tammi suddenly averted her eyes away from his and she pulled her hand away, but he didn’t let on that he noticed the change in her. She moved farther back on the couch saying “Sorry gain, I forgot myself” than she said “I think I need some more water.” She took her glass got up and headed towards the kitchen.

Brokar got up as well and walked towards the kitchen but stopped few feet away from her. “Tammi maybe I should go. I think I took too much of your time already. I had a very nice time and it was really a pleasure meeting you and I hope to see you again sometime” he told her.

Brokar didn’t really want to leave but the change in her told him it was time to go, and if she wanted to see him again she would say so. “I’ll see myself out and thank you again” he said heading towards the door.

Surprised when he said he should go, she scolded herself for acting the way she did. Had he decided to go because of the way she was acting. It was as if she was running hot and cold and couldn’t decide what she wanted.

Tammi wanted to tell him to stay but she couldn’t bring the words out. Instead she set her glass down and followed him to the door. Before he could go out she took his hand and placed herself between him and the door. “It was a pleasure meeting you too,” and before she could stop herself she kissed him on the cheek. Blushing slightly, “That was for keeping me company,” she told him before letting go of his and stepping out of the way.

“Maybe tomorrow I will go for a walk your way,” she said.

Brokar was a little confused by Tammi. He knew she liked him more than she showed him, yet she was holding back and he was not going to push it. He could see the surprise on her face when he headed towards the door, and what surprised him was the quick change in her.

It became obvious to him when she took his hand in hers before he went out the door and she said. “It was a pleasure meeting you too,” Brokar was even more surprised when she kissed him on the cheek at the door. “That was for keeping me company,” she told him.

He smiled at her understanding now, Tammi was fighting something to do with her past whatever it was, and he wanted very much to kiss her but he held back till next time.

“Maybe tomorrow I will go for a walk your way,” she said as he stepped out of the door. He smiled and turned around to look at her. “I will be looking for you Tammi and if you like we can walk to my place.” He said than waved with his hand. “Till tomorrow than.

Smiling she waved at him watching him walk away, "Till tomorrow," she said leaning against the door frame. She knew he wouldn't be able to hear her, so she let out a sigh. Waiting until he got out of sight she closed her eyes and rested her head back on the door frame.

"Don't do something stupid now Tammi," she told herself. "You only just met him, getting involved with him could get messy. This is supposed to be your escape from messy," shaking her head. Pushing herself out of the door way she closed the door behind her.

"I will have something to eat, and then have a bath, maybe then I will have a clear head." So that was what she did, eating a light dinner, she run a warm bath and soaked. As she lay there in the warm water all she seemed to think about was Brokar.

Finally night fell and Tammi headed to bed, dressed in a pair of shorts and a loose singlet. Laying there she soon drifted off to sleep. Tomorrow she would decide what to do, if she would go for a walk or not.

“Till tomorrow” she replied. Brokar didn’t have to look back, he knew she was still there looking at him walking away. Brokar smiled to himself thinking about their next meeting, and wondered if she would be thinking about him. Brokar knew that he would be thinking of her every minute till he saw her again.

When Brokar got home he asked his house keeper Rosa to fill his bath like always after his long walk. “I’ve started it when I first saw you walking back,” she said and a moment later. You’ve gone a long time did you meet someone?” she asked smiling. He smiled but didn’t answer.

The next day Brokar stood by the window looking in the direction of Tammi’s cottage, and was debating whether to go for his walk towards her or wait one more day, but he couldn’t wait that long, and then what would he said to her the next time if she did go and didn’t see him. Brokar got dressed for his walk and headed again towards Tammi cottage. Brokar had never wanted anyone as much he wanted Tammi.

Brokar was thinking of her the whole time and couldn’t help wondering if she was walking towards his place like he told her, he knew she couldn’t miss seen him is she walked on the path. He was almost at the little lake and stopped there, as it was more than half way.

The next morning Tammi set out cleaning the cabin, not that there was much to do.**Any little task she had been putting off she did and she told herself that it need to be done.**But finally she couldn’t find anything more to do and she had to admit to herself that she had been avoiding heading west to see Brokar.* *

Finally she decided she would go.**Who can it hurt, she told herself as she dressed herself in a comfortable pair of pants she could walk in and a shirt and a pair of runners.**Setting out she headed in the direction that she had seen him leave in.* *

As she took a path that she hopped was heading in the right direction, she realized how excited and nervous she was at the thought of seeing Brokar again.**Trying not to think about it she looked around her taking in the beauty of this place.**She had been walking a bit when she came to the lake.* *

Then she saw him and her heart raced a little.*Calming herself as she headed towards him, she smiled and called out, “Hi Brokar.”**Had he come here to see if she was coming, did he want to see her as much as she wanted to see him, she wondered.
