Kelly Ripa who played Faith on that show was pretty hawt IMO, and the Hope char played by Faith Ford (luv the lil bit of irony there) was older-sexy-blonde doable
But yeah, wouldn't keep watching a show like that 'cause I think they slowly drain away my soul... theyre so bland and unoriginal!
Hope & Faith stuck in my mind thou, from that point on, as a couple of great names for gal characters for lit tales, with much in the way of possible angles a story with their involvement could take.

bland can always be spiced up through a lil S&M....or exhibitionism. say in this case, we bllend ideas...the two actresses are both in a charity auction...no one bids cause they are so bland...so one decides to start a fake stip tease. The other says " I can do better than that" etc. After they strip, they each serially add more and more kinky promises as to what they'll do on the date...trying to top each other. Finally, twin brothers buy the two of them, on condition that they warm up with a girl/girl scene.
