A client (either sex) forms a rapport with a barista girl in their local coffee house. This lasts over months as the girl works her way through university..

One day (s)he senses the barista girl is troubled, an soon over time the client learns of the girl's financial predicament, possibly having to leave university, so close to graduating but financially so far.

Yet the amount of money involved for the client is almost peanuts, $2500 or so...

So they make her an indecent proposal.

I admit that in my thoughts the girl is straight, so adds an extra layer of confusion for th girl if the proposer is also female...
