ok, so Im kind of new to anal play, and just picked up a butt plug. Its no bigger than my boyfriend, but I can't seem to get it all the way in, it feels like I just hit some sort of "wall". I know, plenty of lube, and relax, but it just won't pop in!
any tips would be helpful.

First, how big is your BF?
Then you should start with something small as a finger or 2 fingers. You need to stretch it a little at a time, work it in and out for a bit then leave it in for a while.
Get a small plug and leave it in for several hours several times a week. Then get a bigger one and do it over with that one.

Always use way more lube than you think necessary! It can never be too slippery for any anal play! Make sure it slides in easy and add lube and more lube or use one of the lube injectors if you prefer.

I'm glad you got it in. I echo the statements of other here about encouraging you to purchase some sets of different sizes. When I first started with plugs, it was with a set of three different sizes. I quickly outgrew the first one. These days, the middle size just about slips right in, and I move on to the large within about 10 minutes.
