Find a better place to get the oil, or deal with the Middle East. Hybrids will not truck in your groceries or run you railroads. Your power to charge the batteries comes from somewhere. I have stated before my support of the nuclear power industry. There have been few, if any, nuke plants built in the US in the past years. Most of us get electricity from burning coal. I have no idea if you think the world is getting warm because of that or not. Fights for another day.

The environmentalists in America have held back nuclear energy. I can't back them on that. But the guy behind the Gaia theory supports nuclear power plants. Go figure.
