Business conditions at their worst since Bush recession

Morgan Stanley put out the current results of their proprietary Business Conditions Index. According to their chart (see below), business conditions in the country are at their lowest level since the Bush recession. And falling.

Swirling anxiety around the U.S.’s trade relationship with China and other major international counterparts has hurt the confidence of business leaders because the unresolved tariff battles have made it difficult for corporate chieftains to develop business strategies and forced many companies to alter their supply chains.

Morgan Stanley said that its index also reflects an apparent slowdown in domestic jobs growth. Economists for the report, led by Ellen Zentner, wrote that the fall in business conditions is “consistent with the slowdown in gross hirings reflected in the latest employment report for May, and raising the risk that weakness in labor demand persists into next month’s report.”

Morgan Stanley said that taken with other metrics that drill down deeper into financial conditions, “these indicators point to business expansion coming to a near halt in June.”​

Yeah, our nation's current unemployment rate of 3.5% is outrageous! Maybe the Democratic Party should be more vocal in pointing this out!

President Obama warned the American people that all of those manufacturing jobs were "never coming back," but the voters didn't listen to him and instead elected Donald Trump. And now we're stuck with too many jobs openings and not enough workers to fill them!

And all of those brown-skinned people living south of our border who hate & fear Trump's America SO VERY MUCH are expressing their disdain by marching north in caravans, hoping to illegally sneak into the United States, when they should INSTEAD be trying to enter socialist Venezuela, where health care & other government services are free! It's a shame that Bernie Sanders and/or Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez aren't there to re-direct them!

In any case, it's clear that business conditions are at their worst levels since the Bush recession! I mean, President Obama would NEVER DREAM of putting pressure on the Chinese to re-negotiate a fair trade deal with the U.S. - as President Obama understood that the ONLY way to create shovel-ready jobs is by creating an additional $10-trillion in American debt with bigger & more inclusive government-run programs!
