Bush fighting back the tears

I just watched his impromptu press conference. I've never seen a president get so emotional.

May God bless him through this time.

The bodies of two firefighters were pulled from the rubble. The reporter said they were found embracing each other - brothers until the very end.

Somehow it seems like the shock has worn off and worse, the reality is sinking in.

Say what you will about his brain, but the man definitely has a heart.

Personally, the shock has worn off for me. I'm watching things with an almost clinical detachment. My rage is gone; I'm just waiting for us to take care of business... and then, for us to take care of business.

The story of the firemen did put a lump in my throat, I must admit.

He's a Cancer. Beneath our tough shells we are very emotional. If only I could sell my tears.

That speech was truly Bush at his finest. He may still be stilted when reading prepared speeches, but he shines through when he speaks from the heart.

Wish I had gotten to see this... No one seems to be replaying it. :( Heard it was good though.
