yay....i love this stuff....anyone else an incense freak!?

incense not incest!! :p silly pervs...

Candles are easier to deal with, incense do have a better variety.

Until recently, I hadn't used incense in a long, long time. But a friend has turned me on to it and I love it.

Candles too - I found a wonderful, wonderful candle store (they have incense too) - they make their own (incense and candles) and its fantastic stuff.

This one is a stick. I've got some cones too but this is my favorite. It has some lavender, roses, and a few other items I can't even think of in it. She made it based on things we'd discussed as to what I like and desire. The ingredients are to enhance my meditations. And they do. Oh do they!

I like to use an oil burner. That way I can blend my own mixes.

That's cool - how do you do that? Do you buy different aroma's and then blend them or do you actually make some yourself?

i wonder where do they get these names?? and what makes these delightful scents?

Don't know - but I love this particular scent. They'll tell you at the store what they're blended with - I forgot the details though...

That's wonderful. Does your friend sell commercially?

I'd love to come up with my own "signature" blend... *smile*

mhh....i love just staring at the smoke curling upwards from the glowing ember....

You buy Essential Oil (not oil blends) they vary in cost from $5 to $25 for an eye dropper sized bottle. You then mix together the one you want hased in what you are trying to achieve.

EG Energy

pepermint, Lime, Orange, and Sandlewood oil is good.

Thank you - that's great - I never even realized one could buy an oil burner and do that. I will have to look into it. I wouldn't be surprised if there was a web site that had "recipes" as well.

Sandlewood! Damn it was on the tip of my tongue and I couldn't think of it. Thanks Mike!

Nag Champa...

...Yeah, that's the stuff! I buy it by the kilo. And I drive 100 miles to pick it up.
