With today's eviction and demotion of prince Andrew, is there any pressure for King Charles to come clean with factual evidence for his actions? Certainly a king does not have to answer to anyone, but does this tarnish him in any way in being complicit for not directly saying that there is credible evidence against Andrew? Maybe I'm asking this incorrectly and from an American POV, certainly we have our own here protecting sexual predators, but there is a segment of the population here, like me, who frowns on any kind of dignity of privacy to someone who can be proven to be an abuser.

As for the rest of your query, I just don't know: I think the official position would be that the 'facts' of andrew's predatory/exploitative behaviour are already 'known' (having been through the court system) and therefore the resulting actions came to pass. I don't think brits would expect King C to come out and speak publicly beyond this as it is seen as a great embarrassment to the royal family... a family which no doubt has a slew of scandalous bones in closets just as bad if not worse, including Mountbatton's alleged predeliction for young men. Wealth and power comes with the ability to abuse them.

I would be very very surprised if K.C made further public statements involving any details, and a lot of brits would be happy to accept the position of 'didn't know till these recent investigations unearthed shit' especially since andrew's gotten the boot.
