He was all over the place saying the files should be released.

Then he had his justice department review the files and found out that the most prominent name in them is Donald J. Trump.

trump's already saying out loud that he's 'allowed' to pardon maxwell and it's 'in the news' but he's 'not been approached by anybody' about it. What he DIDN'T say, unequivocally, is that a pardon for this sex-trafficking, young girl abuser and enabler/organiser of epstein's criminality is a non-starter. A simple No should have been the obvious answer. It wasn't. He also announced he 'never had the privilege' of going to epstein's island.

As others have broken things down, it may well turn out that maxwell names names... democrats, maybe a few billionaires, says trump had nothing to do with it all; the doj takes aim at these names; Maga is swayed into thanking maxwell for 'doing the right thing' and helping take down these names they already hated and 'knew' were guilty; trump gives her a pardon for her service to America.

I’d bet $$ that Trump pardons Maxwell after she testifies that Trump never did anything with those young girls.

so since he's reiterating the pardon thing, it's clearly part of a drip drip drip of ideas aimed at magats to get it into their heads 'well, he's allowed to.' What's almost more disturbing is the wording 'but right now it would be inappropriate to talk about it.' That leaves it entirely open to becoming an appropriate topic to discuss openly at a later date.

IF this is true, then it speaks volumes to trump's priorities: all the young girls being exploited, the sex trafficking, the abuses and rapes weren't that important to trump... epstein crossed the line by taking something trump believed he owned. That was the biggest digression for trump and highlights his anger that epstein was able to influence people he believed loyal to him, people he 'owned,' meaning epstein was MORE powerful than he was.

epstein's brother has had a bit to say about the whole shebang, but no one has seen him condemning his brother for his criminal, sexual activities that abused so many school girls... he not only declares he was killed in his cell but claims his brother is 'innocent.'

I would be more inclined to entertain considering statements he puts out, such as claims that epstein had 'the dirt' on both trump and Hillary Clinton, if he didn't deny the 100% proven facts of his brother's awful history.

Some of that can be attributed to familial loyalty. I’ve seen the families of obvious murderers steadfastly support their family member’s innocence.

That isn’t so much “lying” as it is denial.

I wouldn’t say it totally undermines the credibility of his other statements (but it certainly doesn’t help).
