What do you like to listen to -to get your groove on?

Musiq and Darnell Jones

Well to get my groove on...

here are a few songs that I've been listening to recently that are "bump and grind music"...

Galaxy Bounce, Chemical Brothers
Where's your head at?, Basement Jaxx
Terra Firma, Delirium

The Soundtrack to Dr. Doolittle #1 is awesome
Missy Elliot - Get you're freak on & Where da party at?
Pink
Prince
I also have "The Ultimate Jam" which includes songs by Tupak, Biggie, LL Cool J, Mace, etc.

btw.. just a little clarification here. I was thinking 'bump 'n grind' as in dancing, not fucking.

Whoo..this one's easy.

Barry White is the God of Love as far as mucis goes. Prince runs a really, really close second. Barry works when you want to be smooth and romantic. Pricne works when you want to be nasty dirty. :)

I also like John Coltrane and Diana Krall of late, too. It puts me in the mood, fat lot of good it does me.

go with the flow

Orinoco Flow that is, by Enya,
in fact anything Enya ;)

Cake.
Comfort Eagle.

It's got an incredible beat.

And every time i hear it,i have to dance.

And dancing makes me horny.

MorgaineLaFay...

good for you. Remembering Jamiroqui. I can't believe I forgot that. Too bad he's not that big in the states. I love the bass guitar in most of his music. Then again songs that feature a digarido can't be all that bad. (Just listen to Traveling Without Moving again, i think it's trac 8 or something)

PS. I don't know if i spelled it right but a digarido is the australlian instrament you hear in many movies when people go to australlia
