bullet vibe question

Hi - i got a bullet vibe back in November, have used it quite a bit and now it's doing strange things. When its been on for more than a couple of minutes, its been getting hot and I'm scared it'll burn me. Any ideas on what's up? is the vibe finished?

When a motor overheats, that means that it's nearly toast. While it may not injure you in any way, replacing it now may save you several days of vibe-less frustration.

Not saying this could happen with yours, but my mini vibe did that a few years ago- I ignored it and kept using it.... when it finally gave out, the battery blew up inside it! Scared the heck out of me; if any of that battery acid had gotten out of there while I was using it, that would've been a big problem...

I'd say its time for a new one.
Why not make it a next step up form the one you have?
Replace an old fave with something to "help soothe the loss".

Hello, I saw this question and had to see what others said as well...my bullet has been heating up on me as well...and was a bit curious as to why....god i love my bullet..lol...and will be replacing it now....thank you

Bad news

The bullet like other vibs is powered by a small electric motor with an off balance shaft. The heat is caused by the motor over stressing. It will continue to heat until it burns up. There is not a great deal of insulation so each moment takes you closer to clit melt down.

Actually they don't last very long. I have had my newest one the longest and I have noticed that it's cord is thicker. It also get hot when I have new batteries in it...cooler after you use it once.

Most bullets have a small hole where the cord enters. Any form of "moisture" that gets in significantly reduces their lifespan. A small drop of silicone caulk at the orifice could help some. I have performed several autopsies to determine cause of death.

I am a shameless and unabashed bullet lover. My first was a freebie with purchase from here . After that, well, recall the shameless and unabashed comment.

That little gem, with just two AA batteries, can change molehill orgasms to mountain orgasms... if your a woman with multiple capabilities then consider the mountain to be a full blown range.

I now purchase them thru the Lit.Store (item GT609 $3.50 US Dollars). They are cheap (cheaply made too) but this is one case where you get ''more bang for your buck'' instead of the ''you get what you pay for''. I can't link direct to the product but search vibrators & massagers to eggs and bullets, sort by price and voila!

btw, on topic, when there's heat it goes, never take a chance on that. But the above usually die from the poor wire protection, if used somewhat easily it will last a while.
