As Deplorables continue to celebrate hate, death and violence in America , decent Democrats in the House of Representatives passed The Build Back Better Framework that will help promote quality of life and a sustainable future for America.

Senate Democrats will now have to finalize the bill before sending it back to the House for approval, and then on to President Biden for his signature.

I like that this bill is moving ahead. I think it should've been split into different I initiatives rather than one big one

Maybe; but that would have provided however many more opportunities for disagreement and Republican propaganda attacks.

Smaller bills would have also been marginalized as no big deal, and no great accomplishment.

I'm a results guy, so I don't really care how important necessary things get done; just so long as they get done.

*nods*

breaking it up into smaller bills would also stretch out the timeline of getting things done before the mid-terms, after which it may be impossible if the republicans gain control. tying the two together, with each depending on the other to get past the house, was the only guarantee of getting it done. Even now the Senate may drag things out as long as possible though they need to weigh how much the things are wanted in this second bill by the electorate... stonewalling it too long, too hard, might lose them votes, lose them their seats, something i'm sure the house republicans are uncomfortably aware of.

That assumes that it's easier to get it done all at once rather than broken up.

They're going to be marginalized regardless.

i don't think there's any assuming any of this would be easy, certainly not on my part; i still don't know if it will make it through the Senate in a form the House can swallow, approve, and send to Biden's desk, but i have hope.

Historic day for sure....only the Dems. Are thinking about what will help the American people.

I can't wait for the tsunami of love and understanding that will swell for Manchin and Sinema when they turn thumbs-down on Build Bolshevism Better.

:)

Well yeah, the Republicans will marginalize the benefits of the bill, but that won't stop them from taking credit for them when they campaign for re-election.

The main thing I learned from the delay in passing both bills, is that it made Democrats look disorganized. That was compounded by the chaotic exit from Afghanistan. Though in fairness, organizing domestic and foreign policy after the previous chaotic administration was always going to be challenging.

It still comes down to results: President Biden got us out of Afghanistan, the Bipartisan infrastructure Framework was passed, and the Build Back Better Framework is approaching the finish line.

You Trumpies sure love those two Democrats.

They're not fighting for you..sorry...they both voted to impeach Trump

I have confidence because progressive and moderate Democrats have accepted that compromise isn't a dirty word, and that perfect is the enemy of good. The CBO scoring was also a positive sign.

The House has already come down to Senator Manchin's number, and Senator Sinema seems to be on board. The State And Local Tax(SALT) issue you hear so much about will be the main point of contention IMHO, but that can be tweaked to satisfy both moderate and progressive Democrats.

The goal was an agreed upon framework between the House and Senate Democrats by Thanksgiving; I'm optimistic that will happen. If it takes a LITTLE longer to finalize the framework I won't be disappointed; it IS a historic piece of legislation after all.

President Obama comes to mind; but it's very close.

:) but then he didn't have an emergency exit from afghanistan or a pandemic that's taken the lives of over 700,000 americans, either. I love Obama, but he was absolutely hamstringed by the pubs, as i expect they intend to do with Pres. Biden after the mid-terms. The only way to avoid that is for the voters to come out against the threats of mccarthy et al. Mr.Pres.O had the racist hatred of the minority aimed front and center at him and i'm really suprised there weren't assassination attempts (that we know about).

Yeah, it's definitely a toss up; but to be fair, VICE PRESIDENT Biden helped President Obama clean up the mess Republican's left in 2008, and PRESIDENT Biden is cleaning up the mess Republican's left now.

Helping save the country twice gives Joe Biden the edge.

FTW

What emergency?

we need 87,000 more IRS agents while they pass a $5 Trillion budget.

Not one dollar for border security.

Ohh, Rittenhouse crossed state lines!! (like going to your bathroom)

Open borders importing criminals and costing Trillions - Dems

You can't make this shit up.

Which Dems support open borders?
