Thanks, Mona. Another question, if you don't mind? Whenever I click on a pic to view, I get a new window asking me to log in to Lit. Any idea why and how to fix?

Speaking of buddy lists, I know who's on mine; is there a way to find out who's got me on theirs?

You need to go to your Control Panel and check off the section where it says to "Browse Board with Cookies". I think that will help you.

I don't think there is such a thing for you to find that information out. I could be wrong, though.

My *really* stupid question:

What's the buddy list for?

Nope, not really stupid at all!

Buddy lists allow you to:

1. see if your buds are on Lit

2. allow you to PM them more quickly

3. allow you to PM several of your buddies the same message at the same time

Do you get to choose if you are on someone's buddy list? Is there a place to just turn that option off?

Not that I've ever found, for either one. However, there is an option at Lit that you can select (or is it de-select?) that puts you in "invisible" mode so people do not know if you are on Lit. It works as far as your name not popping up under the Lit BBs, and I think it also shows you as being offline on the Buddy list as well.
