And no, I don't always gravitate to my earliest experiences, which were pretty disappointing. So I write fantasies where (over-18) young adults learn how to get it right. If the 'kiddie porn' you refer to was misrepresented and caused readers to click on it by such misrepresentation, I'm sure most people backed out immediately. and reported it. If it was visual representations, then it was probably tracked by government officials anyway, and those who posted it are most likely viewing this thread from a jail-cell as we speak.
If, on the other hand, they were written or drawn depictions, in the US, it is protected under the 1st Amendment. Sick or not, it is legal and it's up to the reader to bow out if they accidentally stumble onto such stories.
