About a billion years ago, I was in chicago for IML and I was hlping out a guy in the vendor's area, who was selling bandannas among other things. We had every possible color, including brown-- and one day one guy bought one brown bandanna. He said "Not too many people flag brown!" and I suggested that he leave me his hotel room number just in case someone else showed up, which he did.

And one other man did buy brown, like the next day or something-- I told him that he had a mate somewhere in the convention, and handed him the guys info. He was startled and pleased and embarrassed.

Me, I was glad to have done something nice, but not interested in being a fly on THAT wall!
