Ebony, Des, everyone who's gone through this kinda of gut-wrenching pain recently: 
Time doesn't always heal, but it does allow us to grow in new ways. And a life lived without earning a few battle scars is only half of a life. Without agony, would we know how to recognize ecstasy?

It seems that each time trust is violated, it is less and less freely given to another.
I have been accused of having built "walls of pain and heartache" preventing others from being close to me.
I would say it is true to a certain extent, but there will be and are those special people who help to chip away at the mortar and stone.
Ahhh just my babbling.
However, Des, many hugs to you.
Everytime it happens, it hurts and leaves a mark somewhere.
Then, my hope is that someday, someone comes along who wipes away all of the history and tears.
I still wait.
I am still hopeful.

C Oh, thanks dear. I take it as a great compliment that one as strong as you refers to me as being a strong woman. I'm taking pretty good care of myself. I am surrounding myself with very supportive friends both online and IRL.
RisiaSkye, I think I'll recognise ecstasy when I see it again. Perhaps what I need is an interesting tattoo to make this new battle scar a little more attractive. At any rate, I know I'll get used to it and quit poking the sore spots before too long.

.....thankfully, you have lots of people here to do the soft gooey with.
That stuff's essential sometimes, as we all know from having our hopes, feelings and hearts crushed into wee little jagged shards now and then.
But don't forget to think evil, mean, vengeful thoughts, too.
It's healthy to acknowledge your shadow side!

Lancecastor, I've been indulging in nasty mean thoughts all day. My evil twin's inner bitch has been in control for the better part of the past 24 hours. I destroyed almost everything he ever gave me. The rest will be burned in effigy this weekend in the company of some girlfriends. I'll probably dance naked around the bonfire. After that, I might get drunk. LOL.
Now, are you volunteerin' for a little pain?
