Maybe this isn't the best place to talk about this, and it may seem a little corny, but what is the best and fastest way to get over a broken heart?

I would appreciate any help i can get.

No Quick Fix

Sorry sweetie, but it takes some time to heal.Just don't feel sorry for yourself. Don't think of it as a end,but a whole world of beginnings.

!) Clean your house....get rid of any rememberance of that person. Not one hair to be found!

2) Go out on the town and "get lucky" make it hot and wild! (practice safe sex)

3) Go on a diet and excercise....loose those extra 5 pounds in the next 2 weeks.

All of these will channel your mind and energies to a new beginning!:rose: :rose: :rose:

I can do all of them, but I will have trouble with the "get lucky" part. I am a shy guy and really have a hard time meeting women. For some reason, I stutter and get really nervous when I talk to a pretty girl.

I know where u are coming from. I just got out of a 2 year relationship with someone that I believed was the one, what I did was went clubbing changed somethings and things just got easier for me.

good luck if u wanna talk pm, email, or im

It just takes time. Sometimes...a very long time! I found that the easiest way to mend a broken heart, is to do something positive. Moping around for the rest of your life will only magnify the problem and make the hurt that much worse.
Without having too many details on hand, it is difficult to offer any really good advice. If you are over fifty...move to Thailand. If you are much younger, then I'm sure you'll find a new love before very long. Remember that many women find shyness in a man very attractive. It's whats inside that counts.

I'm sorry that I can't help you get over it, nor take away any of the pain that you are experiencing. All I can do is wish you luck and remember....If you eat a live toad everyday for breakfast...then nothing worse could possibly happen to you for the rest of the day!

As an older person who has been around the block a few times sweety take this advice for what it is ... advice. Either use it or lose it ... the choice is yours.

But my advice is this... you have to realize what that relationship has taught you about yourself. With every relationship be it romantic or platonic you gain something from it. I can not tell you it will be easy to figure out but the only one who can do it is you. I have faith in you that you will someday realize that everyone in our lives teaches us something ... for ill or good it is what we take away from that relationship that matters. and when you realize this then you will also realize the best way to proceed to get over it.
