What happened? The link in my sig no longer works. It appears as code.

Help?

Dr Mab, Lit has turned off the ability to use HTML code in sigs; we can only use VB code now.

Manu made a post in the Site Announcements forum here.

You've just reminded me that I need to sort mine out. I had sigs turned off!

Lou

I had a sig that ran **********. I PM-ed Manu about a year ago telling him that it would be easy to create malicous code in sigs. It looks like he finally listened to vBulletin people. It's lucky I'm not an asshole, just a hacker, otherwise I would have been tempted to prove it.

Somebody, who shall remain nameless, did just that the other day.

Dr M. it's not that tricky. Easier than HTML, in fact. You shouldn't have any probs at all, but if you do, PM me. Edited to add... it's not vBasic you need to learn, you merely need to use the vBulletin code that's used on this board. It's quite self-explanatory.

Oh Fuck! You mean I'm going to have to learn vBasic?

I'd done for.
No, not vBasic. Just VB script code, which is what you use in posts already.

your link should look like this (except the spaces within the brackets):

[ url=http://www.literotica.com/stories/memberpage.php?uid=159353&page=submissions]The Cabinet of Dr. Mabeuse...[/url ]

Liar beat me to it :)

though Dr M all youhave to do love is use the little world button (like appears above every post, it appears on the edit sig page too) and then you enter in what you want your link to say and then the link et voilla...it does it itself :)

I'll be damned. It worked.

Thanks all.

EL, I don't see any little world button anywhere. Could that be because of the skin I'm using?
