Broke my heart, made me appreciate my blessings

I know this is probably the wrong place for this, but I also know there are many people that visit here that will appreciate this.

My youngest daughter teaches 3rd grade, and had asked her students to prepare a story to be read to the class.

This nine year old young lady, Renee V. Dark haired, bright eyed little hispanic, wrote and read to the class. (In her words)

My Dad Got Cancer

My dad got brain cnacer and got sick.. It was fine untell one day he got really sick. Then my dad had to go into the hospital for surgery. Then he had to have kemo therapy, then his whole right side got paralyzed and he had to use a cane. Then it got even worse so he had to use a wheel chair. soon he had to use a hospital bed at are house. One day my mom said she had to go make sure she knew when the funarul was. Then he died. I was really sad.

My daughter said there wasn't a dry eye in her third grade class. This makes me more thankful for the blessings that have been passed on to me. My heart and prayers go out to this young lady as I am sure yours do to.

Be thankful for what we have, and lets all learn to share with love.

Oh yes,I am thankful for what I have and I hope that all goes well for this child and her family.
