BRITNEY SPEARS may lose her multi-million pound deal with PEPSI -after being photographed in Sydney clutching a can of rival brand COKE.

The OOPS! I DID IT AGAIN singer was snapped with the drink during a Sydney Harbor outing last Saturday afternoon.

This year Spears signed a reported $7 million global marketing deal to appear in TV commercials as well as perform on a Pepsi-sponsored worldwide tour.

The 19-year-old said at the time, "The chance to follow some of my heroes - some incredible performers - and create something new with the innovative people at Pepsi is very exciting for me."

Yesterday her record label refused to comment on her soft drink habits.

Gotta wonder what runs through the minds of people that buy a product just because a certain celeb does an add or two. I mean, are there really people who see those Pepsi commercials and think "wow, I never ever liked pepsi before, but now that Britney Spears is drinking it I'm going out there right now and buying a case of the stuff"?

It'll be a cold day in hell when I buy a product only because a celeb is doing ads for them. Now, cartoon characters and porn stars on the other hand......
