You're either breaking your diet, or you're quite, quite filfy.

Put it this way... I've lost two stone since August and just got back into a pair of jeans that haven't fit me for two years, and the weight isn't going back on again.

Excellent. I've started today. Really. But I'm "only" a stone and a half over. I'm fucking hungry. Did you change what you ate? Or just exercise and eat less?

All three. I started using sweetners in my tea, I ate a lot less chocolate and gave myself smaller portions (but NOT in that way! ;) ). The most important thing, I found, was making sure I had a good bowl of cereal every morning (Special K really is quite special). I also did more exercise - weights, abs bar, walking/running, etc. I've not actually dieted, just been more sensible.

I think shock therapy worked for me. I knew I'd put on weight (clothes too tight, etc), but hadn't weighed myself. That was until we went to the Science Museum while on a trip to London last August. They have a splendiferous weighing machine there and I decided to give my girls a laugh. I didn't laugh.

Nice one. All pretty sensible stuff too, not fanatical. I think that's the key to not putting it back on.

I'm only fanatical about one thing and it isn't my weight. On a related note... lots of that helps, too. Especially the really physical kind that lasts for hours.

I have the thread starter to thank for that. :D ;)

No, but it's pretty obvious that Lew and Svet are just ChilledVodka.

Hahaha! I've never thought of that. I wonder why?

Now, don't go saying things like that, or we'll both come and sort you out.

Lou? You there love or off for a snog?

It's school holidays. I expect that she is entertaining the children (actually she is pretending she is a little girl again and shrieking with the rest of them).

I think it is called having quality time with the offspring - usually messy and expensive.

Yep, you got it in one. :D

I've been playing at being Mummy today (and all week) and it's been a lot of fun. I even helped my 7 year old get the tea. ;) (She helped me, but I helped her in her reality).

The three of us have also been playing at "hair-styling" all day, in preparation for all three of us to be bridesmaids for my brother on Saturday. Tomorrow we get to help decorate the reception venue. Whoop!

Can you tell I'm excited? :D :nana:
