Did anyone else think this movie was going to be really stupid? I did, but then I saw it and loved it. And it definetly started out strong with this hilarious cheer! So I thought I would post it!

My favorite line is We cheer and we lead, We act like we're on Speed!

Sure it wasn't GREAT, but it wasn't really as stupid as I thought it was gonna be. Anything with Kirsten Dunst can't be that bad.

Ya, I've seen "Dick" and i thought it was HILARIOUS!!!!!!! I thought the whole ensemble cast was GREAT!!!!!! Especially the guy that played Nixon. He was dead on.

I HAVE to agree!!! I thought "Dick" was fab!!! -Hysterical and wonderfully acted. And I do think Kirsten Dunst is amazing in whatever she does... talent, beauty... she makes this straight girl swoon!!!

Bring it on was great too... I thought it would make me puke... I can't stand cheerleaders.

Even though Kirsten plays a "bad girl" in this, and isn't suppose to be the glamorous type, I wanna see this movie REAL BAD!!!!!! I don't mind cheerleaders that much, but I wasn't expecting much from "Bring It On," but I kinda enjoyed it. The only real poblem with the film was how blacks were portrayed. All the Clovers seemed to act like "street toughes." Especially that girl that wanted to rumble with Torrance and Missy.

I agree Nasty... this movie definitely had a few stereotypes to overcome, but I liked it. I like the name of Kirsten's character (Torrance Shippman)... I've never heard of a girl named Torrance before, I thought it was cool. Some of the girls in the movie reminded me of some of the "cheertators" (as in Cheerleader dictators, see the movie it'll make sense) that used to roam the halls where I went to school. *shiver*

I want to see Crazy/Beautiful too! In one of the newest issues of Rolling Stone Kirsten talked about C/B and what it was like to do her first sex scene. It was an interesting article and interview(anything with Kirsten is interesting) but it wasn't nearly as long as it should have been.

Torrance is an ackward name. I thought when I first heard that, it was a mistake. Kirsten seems to be a cool person. When the guy had to touch her breast, he was too shy. She finally grabbed his hand and put it on her chest. My kind of woman.
