As I see it, the best hairdresser in the land is the one being bribed.
Why? Because she is supposed to be exclusive to the Queen.
And the Bride is the Queen's step daughter
There is a fable in the land in which a lovely princess on her wedding day uses her braid to strangle the queen in her sleep, but only after consummating the vows publicly, as is the royal tradition.
Queen first attemts to have the braid cut
then to have the bride killed
then to prevent the consummation.
