Circular breathing is Taoist breathing (the exact opposite of Buddhist breathing).

Interesting stuff about the Taoist breathing. Since I've never done that kind of breathing, the only thing I can add my two cents on is this last part. In my experience, having clear sinuses doesn't help when you're nose to groin. When that sausage is stuffed fully down there, it seems to block whatever little holes let the nose air into the throat! Also, being pressed flat into the groin makes pulling in a breath through the nose kind of hard. I just remember always having to hold my breath when in the deep end, although I wonder now if that wasn't due to his size (he was 6' 6" and proportionally built).

What I do is each time my mouth works it's way back up the head of the penis...i open my lip in the corner to draw in more air before descending once again.....exhale through the nose on descent.....draw in air as you ascend...

I think that wickedlady31 has hit the nail on the head (so to speak) but I remembered some images I saw of x-rays of blowjobs that I think accurately demonstrate that breathing is not an option here.
