I thinking pulling off to the side would be much safer for everyone.

Since there is no safe way to harness an infant on a car driver's lap, I would say no.

i think it's legal in my state, and that just blows my mind.

My firstborn didn't even need a car seat to leave the hospital as she was born around the time that was supposed to be enforced but wasnt.

I have breastfed while sitting in the drivers seat, but alas it was not while it was moving.

To be honest, I think there isnt a place outside a restroom I didnt feed the chitlins.

I've done/attempted this with the baby in her car seat at the end of a long road trip very awkward.

I've got no problem with women breast feeding in public, doesn't bother me one little bit. Doesn't affect me, not my business, they can please themselves.

But, when they are behind the wheel of a car then that has the potential to affect me seriously. I expect them to be totally focussed on the job at hand and not trying to get some brat latched onto their tit.

It's same as using a cellphone, or eating a burger, absolute foolishness.

The worse thing I ever saw was someone diapering a baby using PINS, which she held between her lips, as she drove on I-94 through downtown Minneapolis.

Babies do not make good airbags. Why would anyone in their right mind risk it?
