Not to belittle the tragedies of the last week (and, yes, I usually view death--both expected and sudden--as a tragedy), but I Stumbled onto this and thought the cartoonist hit the usual media reaction on the head.

:D well it's the truth... i mean they were even asking others starts at wimbeledon about them... got a lot of well I didnt know them but my ex-wife was their first crush kinda thing. :rolleyes:
 
It's nice to know it's not us that suffers such media stupidity.

I was just commenting to my Hubby the other day how the shows, magazines, and tabloids LIVE for this stuff!

A death of someone famous means they sell a ton of magazines...sad but true.
And we just eat it up...especially if it was an unusal situation.
