GOLDSBORO, N.C. (WITN) -One person is in the hospital following a shooting in Goldsboro Saturday night.
Goldsboro Police went to the call around 9:42 p.m. Saturday at 1001 N. Spence Avenue in Wayne County.
Police found 19-year-old Elana Corbett suffering from a gunshot wound. She was taken to Wayne UNC Health, and later flown to Vidant Medical Center in Greenville.
According to officials, she is in stable condition and the investigation is ongoing.

Yeah, you gun nuts would just love having all of the death and mayhem you and your crazy friends are inflicting on the country just ignored, wouldn't you? Well, you can sit on the barrel of your assault weapon and pull the trigger.

no details in the report i linked, just that it was at the hospital and was ongoing

“Our thoughts and prayers go out to those who were impacted by the Wayne Memorial Hospital incident,” the statement said along with a file photo of the hospital.

I concur wholeheartedly. That news story was hogwash is all I meant.

If there is an active shooter anywhere who has a single target in mind and has yet to be contained but fired a shot we are going to deal with chicken little madness. It won’t help. Thoughts and prayers all over won’t help. Overturn 2a won’t help. There are millions of guns all over the country. I live in NY close to the boroughs and guns are pretty illegal. Like serious gun laws. I’m sure you’re all aware.. Yet there are shootings daily. Daily. Kids getting killed in a drive bys constantly. I’m numb to giving a fuck. I do what I can to protect me and mine with no help from any of the nitwits. It’s all nonsense.
 
The current news looks as if it was an accidental discharge. The MSN report is rubbish. What a surprise.

thanks for that :) any firearm being discharged inside a hospital is a cause of great concern given the shooting the other day.

you can't blame msn for the report; it is hosting the report given by
WNCT Greenville , not creating the report itself. I see people knocking msn for this all the time, but they are simply collecting the stories from other sources into one place
