I have had my pussy waxed twice, and although the idea is great, the second time I had it done, the girl burned my lips quite badly (and I'm ready for vengeance). This has entirely put me off, it absolutely kills. Does anyone know what to do if you are burned there, any remedies? has it happened to anyone else?

I would recommend using aloe vera to sooth the pain. And i believe anything for hydrocortisone might help or anything for diaper rash, which might be milder. I never done it to myself...I can hardly wax my own legs, but try going to a different place. Or maybe asking a friend to do it for u. I know most wax from the store you can not wax around the lips of the vagina so you have to be careful.

Thanks. It's been a damn week and it's still giving me hell. It's so annoying, because shaving gives me one hell of a rash, and so do creams. I guess the b/f will just have to make do!! Think I'll give the aloe vera a go.

There is a cream called Bikini Zone. You can pick it up and any major shoping center (Wal-Mart, etc.). It's about $5 a tube. not too expensive. It's a specially medicated cream (mostly odorless) that ws created to be used around the bikini area after shaving. It keeps the pores clear and helps with the hair growth. It does a lot to keep the itching down.

Myself and my girlfriend both use it.

Did u make sure you told the people who did the wax job about what happened? Get your money back??? Make sure you tell the girl who did it to you, or mention it to her superiors....it would be a shame to let this girl do the same thing over and over again to other girls.

I had to mention this for the guys. I too always wanted my gf to get the brazilian. She said she would if I can find her a place that does it. Yeah, I went and spoke to the manager (and got a voucher - which is not very helpful seeing I'd never go back there) but he basically tried to blame it on me - even though I'd had it done before and done all the right things. I asked him to speak to the girl, but he said he'd only ever had a few problems before so there wasn't a point.

From the gist of this thread it appears that waxing, shaving or tweezers (ouch!) is still the best method?

Since nobody has mentioned permanent hair removal, I can only imagine that it is even worse than the methods already mentioned. With all the science at our disposal, this is a sad commentary

I think waxing is the cheapest and best way to remove hair.
For some it will never be accepted, but it seems like the method that has only worked for me. All the creams out there burn and irritate my skin.

When I can afford it I will think of laser..for now its the way to go.
