I have it. It works ok so far. I have not used it on secured sites yet, but going to sites like cracked and raw story is amazing.
On chrome I have all the ad blocking add ons - disabled all plug ins - stopped autoplaying vids, on brave it does all that on the basic install.
I am doing this on a mac, have not tested it on a pc yet.

Trying now. Kinda cool and pretty stoked that it imported my bookmark folders bar from Vivaldi browser.
If you haven't tried Vivaldi yet, I encourage you to do so. It was created by dudes from Opera and Chrome. It actually lets you intsall Chrome add-ins, extensions, etc.
Whoa. The "Instert Hyperlink" and "Insert Image" buttons don't work on the Lit when using Brave.

Yeah, brave is not letting me insert images. It also cuts off the bottom edge of the quote box.

That is because those are scripts, and require you have scripts enabled.
I had the same problem with scriptblocker which I highly recommend. (Hat tip Eyer) Had to allow scripts for Lit. Probably an option on brave to have an exception list.

Haven't tried Brave. (Haven't dug out the netbook for months, either) my assumption as to why Brave is reported to run so fast is that it probably blocks scripts by default but I'm pretty sure there's got to be a way to enable it on a case-by-case script by Script basis I just wouldn't know how.

I would think there is a code disassembly somewhere but I can't be arsed to look fr it. (Brints, did I do that right)
Anyway, Brave was actually built for mobile so you may want to try the Google Play store and check it yourself.
I didn't know that. Firefox for mobile is arse. When I go to edit, anytime I click in the edit window to place the cursor, it auto zooms out to less than tiny. I have to zoom back in to see if the cursor is anywhere near where I aimed it. If it is after the edit target, I back up to the problem area. Before it, I have to try again which is why I leave it Aella-esque a lot of the time.

It defiantly loads faster. It is far worse on a tiny scree so far. The keyboard takes up 1/2 and some settings bar pos up on the upper 1/4. I had to move the screen do with a gesture to even see that I was typing. It seems to hold zoom, though.
Edit holds zoom. That alone may make it worth using.
That annoying float down bar has a settings icon. Which does noting. It seems to have no settings choices??
Found settings in another bar. No idea why the other bar exists. My guess on the above problem is unchecked "enable sheilds" to fix the script problem with th e forum.

That's pretty much where I'm at with it, too. I like my Chrome extensions and add-ons so I don't see myself using it everywhere.
