I heard the winds were pretty crazy up that way. Sucks to be without power, but glad to hear you're okay.
 
The boys are a result of a major power outage years ago. Along with a lot of others from around me. Their class is the largest graduating class ever from there! Might say a lot about that storm.

I can do without the lights and gadgets, but not having heat in frigid temps is no fun. Hopefully everyone is back up on the grid shortly. Thankful for line workers and the work they do! We had a real good snow storm about 18 years ago, New Years - quite a few babies born in September/October here that year, including 1 of ours. Largest class for a few years ;)!

My power has been restored! Thank you utility workers! I have a huge amount of respect for those in trades.
We stayed in a hotel for a few days. Kind of felt like a mini vacation except I still had to work 12hr shifts. Next time the power goes out I hope to have enough staff to be able to really go on vacation! A lot of my neighbors decieded to go to water park hotels. Why didn't I think of that? Oh yeah that work place.
Speaking of... All my hard work is starting to pay off. I reviewed the numbers for March so far and I can't believe the spikes! Revenue and labor are in the green! I feel like I am accomplishing something! Stoked and grateful to be back!! :D
