As for art: you should head over to the Rust Belt store one day. Got a feeling you will like a lot of what you see there. I could very easy go broke in that place. If I didn't have so many issues with getting pictures uploaded from my phone I'd show you my business card holder

I just took a virtual tour, I don't know why I have never stopped in. There is a ton of local stuff and Detroit proud gear! Looks like a cool place to spend some time, I could even virtually go in the kitchen of the corner bar lol.

The whole place is really cool. Great coffee bar with pour over and French press and fresh Great Lakes coffee beans. The whole place is just small venders set up so lots of different stuff. And lots of cool art. Some steampunk also tho I wish they had more of that.
Also have a cool album booth also with a great selection.

I saw a little stand that offered alot of metal work. I would live to have a metal D or something along the lines of that.

Probably the steelcut laser art. I was looking for a Detroit skyline business card holder from them. Ended up getting a NUTS card holder with a D screw in it

Seven more days...
Okay, so it has been a week now since my operation. Last night all the medi tape fell off and for the first time I was able to check out the wounds. I have been smiling non-stop!!! They have healed up lovely and the incisions are teeny tiny. They remind me of a little cat scratch. *Cat Scratch Fever playing in the background*

Yay for Sunday!!! Today I only work seven hours and tomorrow is my day off!! Can't wait to come home and make dinner for my loves. Comfort food for sure, it's been a long weekend. I didn't expect to go back to work so quickly, glad to be able to help them out of the pickle they were in!

Worked, two jobs from 7am - 12am. I did receive two giant oatmeal raisin cookies drizzled in white chocolate by our local baker. Those were sooooo yummy. That was "lunch". Lol.
We don't really celebrate any holidays together other then doing stuff for the kiddos. We used to do a non spending celebration on anniversaries but we (he?) decided it was too much work. Sure, it would be nice to show and receive appreciation. But that's just not us (him?). I think at this point we wouldn't even know how and it would be all awkward and uncomfortable. Like "thank you for the card should we kiss now?" *headbutts, bites his lip instead* *dies inside*
Holidays like Valentine's are disheartening. In theory I love the idea of celebrating Love, irl no idea how to do that without feeling insecure af. I'm sure others can relate.
