I don't do bras, so I can't speak from personal experience. But my advice would be to go to a shop that sells clothing that's a bit on the kinky side, or sexy at least, and ask a salesgirl for help.

Measure your chest around with a flexible measuring tape.. That's the number. #

The letters are the cup size...

So, example;

38D means the chest is 38 in, and the breasts fit in a D cup.

But wait. Isn't that 38 measured around the tips of the nipples? So how would someone who doesn't have breasts measure?

if you want just the band size you measure under your boobs to get a cup size you measure around the boobs every inch bigger is a cup.

So just my experience. I've more or less given up on underwired and padded bras. I'm not bothered about having pointy tits and don't wear breastforms, I have just enough manboob of my own.

I much prefer unpadded bralettes because they usually have flexible bands, don't dig into you like underwired ones do and are comfortable for daily wear. Plus I think they just look sexier on a man, and if you choose sheer or thin fabric, you get the visible nipple poke thing happening too.

Bralettes anyway. Gamechanger for me. Because they're mostly not designed to cup and support big breasts, they fit and cling to a male body far better than standard bras.
