Brand new.. looking for ideas?

Welcome MissBean. I'm originally from South Canada (otherwise known as North Dakota), always enjoyed my time in Great White North.

There are a ton of writing threads and a lot of very supportive authors, I'd recommend starting by some research of your own. I've no claim to knowledge or skills, but some seem to take comfort in writing what they know or share their own fantasies, while others like to share their images/art/voices. I think all can be great and appreciated, but I do think the people who write the stories they have personal passion for, especially as they get started.

It's also totally valid to look at the most popular story genres and chase the engagement by meeting people where they are, so if you want to see the most engagement, then that sort of research of specifically what is the most popular in this particular venue and reading some of the well reviewed content there may be prudent.

I love written stories and audio stories, especially ones with related sounds mixed in.

Regardless, very best wishes on your endeavors, I hope it brings you some joy and excitement as you try to do that for others.

Welcome to the site.
What we want as readers and supportive writers is to read your stories. Any story that you want to write will always be better, more detailed, more passionate, more enthusuiastic than something that someone wrote to try to please the readers.
I started here three yers ago with a few stories that I needed to write. And the readers were receptive. That was 54 stories ago.
It's sweet of you to ask, but as somber777 said, just write what brings you joy and excitement. Your stories will find their readers.

Welcome to the site! As others have said, if you have a story YOU want to tell, do that before anything else. If you’re open to doing anything though, the story ideas posts are up for grabs and open to anyone (unless the OP of the thread specifically posts they are workshopping an idea or that their ideas aren’t for grabs)

Hi fun friends

I am so brand new here. I want to help provide content to community, but what do people want to hear? Stories? Sounds? I know that varies from person to person by if you feel so inclined to give advice, I am so more than happy to hear it.

Hello Miss Bean,

First, I'm going to chime in about you reading and listening to what's already been posted here, then let your imagination fly. There are all sorts of stories from all sorts of angles, so I trust you'll find your way.

Second, I am intrigued by your mention of sounds. I do enjoy some of the audio stories here and look forward to hearing your voice.

Welcome. In my opinion, the best way to make new content is to see what drives the current market. I can tell you straight up that my content features a lot of LGBTQ characters, in a variety of categories, namely incest, Sci-Fi/Fantasy, etc. A good chunk of what I read is similar, most of which are kink-based (instances which would be thrilling if I ever did them IRL, but know I'll probably never do them), but a few are fanfictions, inspired works, erotic scenarios of otherwise everyday life. If you're looking for ideas on grounded fantasy, I'd suggest reading stories written by Silkstockingslover, BigMadStork, and a few of the authors who frequent this forum.
